For this next season, small groups and huddles will be meeting digitally. There are many platforms to do this– our preferred platform is Zoom. We encourage everyone to sign up for a free account at Zoom right away. Zoom works on all Macs, PCs and devices, and there are easy-to-use apps for iPhone and Android.

Huddle and small group leaders can:
1. Log into Zoom (no cost) and schedule your own meeting anytime (40 minute limit for free accounts)

2. OR, Schedule a longer meeting time by contacting Jasmine at jasmine@cariboobethel.com.
(Instructions for creating a ‘Meeting ID’, inviting others, and putting your meeting onto Google Calendar are available once you sign in to Zoom)

Huddle and small group members can join a meeting using one of these methods:

  1. Go to Zoom.us or open the Zoom app. Click on “Join a Meeting” in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Click “Join a Meeting” if you want to join without signing in.
  3. Enter the “Meeting ID” that your small group leader has given you in advance. You can join by signing in with an account, or without one. 
  4. Select if you would like to connect audio and/or video and click “Join”.
  5. OR, If your leader sent you an email invitation to a Zoom meeting, just click the link in the email and follow the instructions.
